Sunrise SESA Technologies, Inc. is thrilled to announce that our Walk-in Dynamic Message Sign (DMS) has been officially approved by the Florida Traffic Engineering Research Lab (TERL) and has been assigned APL No. 700-020-009. TERL is renowned for its rigorous standards, which are often considered the toughest in the nation, making this approval a significant milestone for us.
The approval process with TERL is meticulous and comprehensive, involving an exhaustive review of documentation, previous test results, and a detailed physical examination and retesting of the sign by TERL’s technicians at their lab in Tallahassee. This ensures that our products meet the strict specifications of the Florida Department of Transportation (DOT), underscoring our commitment to quality and safety.
Throughout this process, Sunrise SESA has worked closely with TERL, supporting their rigorous testing and evaluation with open communication and collaboration. Our engineering team has been instrumental in this journey, stepping up to refine and enhance our products to meet the high standards set by the Florida DOT.
